Hello! My name is Marco Visconti, and I am a lifelong student and practitioner of the Western Esoteric Tradition, and my specific focus is Thelema and its evolution.
During my life so far I wore many different masks: at some point, I was a successful musician and DJ in the industrial-goth scene: you might have heard of XP8, Faderhead, Grendel, and VNV Nation, all bands I have been involved with in one form or another.
Around a decade ago I then moved from my native Rome, Italy to my beloved London, UK: and once there, I joined the team at Treadwell’s Books and furthered my passion for books, especially of the old and rare kind.
Since the late 90s, I got involved in the world of esoteric orders, circles, and covens, and received initiations in the A∴A∴, Ordo Templi Orientis, the Choronzon Club, as well as being consecrated a Bishop in the Ecclesia Gnostica - of which now I run, along with a College of Bishops and Sophias, one of its many manifestations.
In the past few years, and after some truly disturbing experiences I chronicled here, I came to accept that the time for Orders is over. All the Secrets one could write down have long been published and dispersed to the four winds.
And that’s why we are here: to offer a new, interactive way of engaging with esoteric teaching. There are no gurus or ascended masters here, no boasting of A∴A∴ grades or belittling those who have not received a formal initiation. This is a safe space where you can grow into your practice no matter your experience level.
Consider me a sort of esoteric personal trainer: someone who did the Work diligently for almost 3 decades now, and is more than happy to share the tips and tricks of the trade with those truly willing to learn.
